Meet The Ardent Team

The Ardent team has worked together for over 10 years and has expanded to include accounting, project management and property maintenance. Ardent sub contracts to affiliated group company's Investment Management, Estate Management and Project Management. The Manager regularly meets to appraise new projects and evaluate opportunities, regularly visiting the properties to ensure they are in good shape.

Giles Cadman, Our Founder

Giles Cadman is the Chairman and Founder of the Cadman Capital Group of Companies.  A successful entrepreneur of over 25 years, Giles has broad knowledge and experience in a wide range of businesses.  The son of a property developer, Giles has been involved in a range of property projects in the UK over the past 16 years.  In this time, he has built up a large network of property contacts and is well respected in the property sector. Whilst well versed in most different parts of the property market, Giles' focus is the development and refurbishment of residential and retail properties for the rental market.

Graham Farinha

Graham Farinha is the managing director of Portcullis (BVI) Ltd.  He attended the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School after graduating in law and business management from the University of the West Indies.  He has previously worked as inhouse legal counsel and compliance officer of trust companies and has held government appointments in the British Virgin Islands and Trinidad & Toabago.

Simon Stringer

John Percival

Underpinned by his extensive experience in financial management and the knowledge gained through his previous roles at a range of global companies including XPO, Joules, Paperlinx and Fisher Scientific, John joined the team in 2019 to implement improved financial control systems across the business. His primary focuses within real estate are on financial reporting and fund reporting, as well as ensuring fiscal discipline throughout. His skills in negotiation, business planning, management and operations make him a core part of the leadership team.

Ardent Property Investments


Ardent Real Estate (the Fund) operates as an unregulated collective investment scheme (defined within s235 of the Financial Services and Markets Act (FSMA) 2000).

The Fund does not have the approval of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other regulatory body.

The Fund invests in real estate and real estate related products, which are not recognised as regulated investment products.

Promotion of the Fund is strictly controlled by authorised persons. Accordingly, Ardent Real Estate will take all reasonable steps to verify the suitability of potential investors. Eligible investors may include:

Established / newly accepted investors. Defined as any authorised person in respect of whom that authorised person has taken reasonable steps to ensure that an investment in 'the Fund' is suitable within the meaning of the FCA's Conduct of Business Sourcebook 4.12 and 'professional clients' and 'eligible counterparties' of such authorised person.

Sophisticated Investors – See article 23 FSMA Promotion of Collective Investment Schemes (Exemptions) Order 2001, being a person certified in writing to the effect that he/she is sufficiently knowledgeable to understand the risks associated with participating in unregulated schemes.

High net worth companies, unincorporated associations, partnerships or trustees of high value trusts – See article 22 FSMA Promotion of Collective Investment Schemes (Exemptions) Order 2001.

Investment Professionals – defined within article 14 FSMA.
